Share Your Message, Change The World

I'm currently taking a training course called Product Success Blueprint from Brendan Burchard, author of the bestselling book Millionaire Messenger. His message is that everyone is an expert on something -- and that if you package your expertise, you can make millions of dollars -- and he tells you exactly how he -- and others -- have done it. One of the continuing themes is "success requires work!" Isn't that true of any success -- whether it's marriage, raising children, getting and staying fit? The irony is that it's the "hard work" that makes you an expert. Add a comment

Defining Success When Times Are Hard In Your Business

A few months ago I joined a local Business Network International chapter. I'm enjoying and learning so much from the experience. Since I started as an organizing consultant 30+ years ago, when the organizing industry didn't exist yet, I have in many ways been "going it alone." Along the way, I have spent tens of thousands of dollars on consultants to help me, but I've never spent time much time with owners in other businesses to see what they go through to build their businesses. I think one of the major reasons was that I didn't think other business owners would want to hang out with me since I wasn't very successful (by my own definition).
